Allwood Fine Cabinetry, a division of Allwood Industries Ltd. was formed by a group of talented craftsmen with a vast amount of combined expertise in the industry. With a vision to transfer our passion into spaces that transform the way people live, we set out to create a state of the art manufacturing facility that would turn concepts into reality.
Having started in 1988, over 30 years later our staff has proudly grown to 120. Our core values remain unchanged. To create a tailored experience for our clients, whilst building quality products that transform spaces as much as they do people’s lives.
1988
José Rocha founded Allwood Carpentry with a vision and passion for Millwork alongside 5 employees.
1991
As the company grew, attending events and creating a positive impression on the industry whilst focusing on what our clients want was slowly evolving.
1998
With close to a decade of industry experience, Allwood had branched out to cover both commercial and residential sectors.
2008
20 years past, and the core values at Allwood still remained the same; listening to our clients needs whilst creating spaces with extreme attention to detail, quality, and workmanship.
Meet the Team
José Rocha
President
During the last 32 years Jose has worked on a multitude of Architectural Millwork projects across North America that demand the highest craftsmanship as well as precise organization skills and quality control. Over the years with a tremendous passion for the millwork industry and a desire to achieve perfection, Jose has acquired and trained several teams that fit the criteria that deliver prestigious projects that are highly regarded with professionals and associations that govern our industry.
Kamal Nicolas
Project Manager & Client Services
For over 30 years Kamal has been designing and creating premium kitchens across Ontario. Over that time Kamal has worked with diverse clientele and teams, developing a robust portfolio and considerable experience. He takes pride in working closely with his clients in order to provide them with peace of mind, in addition to the highest quality final product.
Pedro Gomes
Production Manager
Over 32 years of experience on custom fabrication to the highest level. From initial concepts to the completion of a project, attention to detail and quality control are key to the final product and Pedro excels at both. His knowledge includes hands on fabrication as well as installation of high-end millwork.
Isabela Brasil
Designer
Isabela is a solution-driven professional with experience in Interior Design and Architecture, having developed projects for Residential, Commercial, Cultural, and Institutional spaces. Isabela is passionate about uncovering the needs and desires of a client and turning the ideas into innovative designs that are perfectly tailored and custom.
